Dimension 1: Teaching Innovation and Enhancement
- Each semester, at least three certification tutoring courses are offered based on student needs. Statistical data shows that approximately 1,800 certificates have been obtained by enrolled students.
- To enhance student learning outcomes, innovative teaching and intelligent learning models are promoted. The 66 School platform was established, along with the creation of an AI self-learning community. Gamified learning tools are provided, and students who complete the courses receive AI-related knowledge certification.
- To increase learning diversity and flexibility, a total of 12 interdisciplinary credit programs have been established. Students are actively encouraged to enroll in these programs to promote interdisciplinary learning and gradually cultivate diverse skills and competitiveness.
- Agreements have been signed with nearly 42 overseas universities to promote overseas learning opportunities, including exchange programs, short-term study abroad, micro-study abroad, and dual-degree pathways. Each year, 34 sophomore students are selected for short-term overseas study, and 1 student is selected for a half-year micro-study abroad program.
Dimension 2: Fulfilling Social Responsibility
- About 10 public welfare activities are organized annually, focusing on caring for underserved rural areas. A total of 126 students have been trained to assist in these efforts, demonstrating compassion and responsibility while continually bringing warmth to society.
- 3 digital technology experience events, along with cross-grade and cross-school collaborative learning competitions, were held with a total of 380 participants. To enhance the development of mathematical logic and digital learning abilities among students from both urban and remote junior high and elementary schools in Tainan, the activities focused on curriculum-based learning and the cultivation of club-related interests. The initiative aimed to fulfill social responsibility by supporting local educational resources and reducing the urban–rural gap. By promoting educational equity, the program provided instruction in robotics, the IoT, AR, VR, and other AI-related courses to rural elementary schools, helping to narrow educational disparities and cultivate talent for the digital era.
- Promoting sports for all by increasing interaction between the school and the community. One local basketball and volleyball tournament were jointly held to revitalize the community.
Dimension 3: Industry-Academia Collaboration
- By effectively integrating industry–academia collaboration resources, 10 new industry–academia collaboration cases were successfully written and completed, demonstrating the capacity and bringing new innovative value and possibilities to the connection between theory and practice.
- A graduate career development tracking system has been implemented, completing 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year post-graduation surveys with an 75% response rate. In addition, the UCAN assessment is fully administered to all first-year students, with the university-wide average score exceeding 3.2.
- Since 2019, the employment matchmaking rate for graduating undergraduates has exceeded 90%. Graduates have excelled in a highly competitive job market, including 9 management trainees, 8 financial analysts (ACM), 2 international finance professionals (IRM), 66 reserve managers (JRM), and 33 wealth management professionals. These results demonstrate the strong confidence and high expectations from the industry.
Dimension 4: Enhancing Higher Education Public Good
- Over the past decade since the university’s establishment, a total of NT$120,724,396 has been provided in financial aid to economically and culturally disadvantaged students. In the 112-114 academic year, 342 students received assistance, helping them focus on their studies without the burden of financial concerns.
- Financial certification guidance courses are provided, with seed teachers mentoring students from disadvantaged backgrounds in subjects such as trust, regulatory affairs, foreign exchange, and derivative products to support their certification and future career development.
Special Section: Internationalization and Administrative Support System
- 9 exchange activities between international and domestic students were organized, helping international students quickly integrate into life in Taiwan.
- An International Companions for Learning system was introduced to improve Mandarin language skills for international students, while also providing domestic students the opportunity to learn about foreign cultures and second languages.
