School Performance

1. Ranked 985 in 2025 THE World University Rankings (THE World University Rankings).


2. Ranked 15 in 2024 Taiwan's Best Universities Ranking (General University/Non-Technical); Ranked 1 in Medium-sized University (Annual Funding Scale of 1-2 Billion).


3. Ranked 401-600 in 2024 THE Impact Rankings, improving 200 placements each year.

Teaching and Learning

1. The School of Management, the School of Electrical Communication and the School of Information Technology were selected as “EMI Focused Programs” in 2022-2023, and “Social Sciences Benchmarking Program” and “Engineering and Applied Sciences Focused Programs” in 2024 respectively.


2. The IT “Three Clouds Gathering” program has obtained 644 cloud licenses; and cooperated with the Taoyuan City Government to promote information security education, which has trained 7,084 people and 2,500 trainees have received certificates.


3. The number of teachers participating in Cross-Domain Teaching increased from 151 in academic year of 112 to 201 in academic year of 113; student foreign language licenses, thesis publications, and public service exams increased by 59% from 111-113 academic year.


4. From 2022 to 2025, the internationalization score of THE World University Ranking increased from 33.1 to 53.5, and the domestic internationalization index ranking jumped from 20th to 4th.

Industry Cooperation

1. Five companies participated in the “Enterprise Academy” and promoted four TSMC programs.


2. Attended the 29th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 29) in Azerbaijan and presented the results of the new sustainable governance of our university and the Far East.


3. Implemented the “Low-Carbon and Intelligent Industry Counseling Program”, which has counseled 19 enterprises in their transformation.


4. Student competition awards, internships, and international conference attendance increased 32% from 111-113 academic year.

Social Participation

1. 2023 National Sustainability Award.


2. 2023 Ministry of Economic Affairs Energy Saving Benchmark Award, the only “Gold Award” in the category of education.


3. 2024 Taiwan Sustainable Energy Foundation “Taiwan Top Ten Sustainability Model Universities Award”.


4. 2024 Fifth Annual Vision USR University Social Responsibility Award, “Navigating the World's Cultures” USR Program, “Exemplar Award” for the outstanding program “Talent Together”.

Higher Education Publicity

1. The “Improvement of Schooling Assistance Mechanism” program is supported by an annual donation of $5 million from the Far Eastern Memorial Foundation.


2. The results of the school's research and analysis showed that the program students who participated in the school counseling were significantly better than the average students in terms of “continuous learning” and “problem solving” abilities, and the dropout and withdrawal rates decreased year by year.
