NDHU first stage of Higher Education SPROUT Project focus on Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs to develop "NDHU Five to Gether" starts from "partnership" to find and convene a team of teachers, students, and third parties; connect energy across domains, teams, and schools; adopt the method of "co-learning together" for discussing, learning, and working together to "co-create" an innovation ecosystem; create a new era of educational "common good"; cultivate diversified talents that meet the needs of contemporary society; enhance the connection between schools and regions, thoroughly cultivating the local network; give full play to real social influence; and ultimately create the "common prosperity" of schools and society.
1.Pioneering courses based on the concepts of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship that encourage instructors to make the full connection with local organization to rich the teaching contents.
2.Student autonomous learning communities aim to guide students in the application of knowledge and skills acquired in their courses and motivate them to extend their personal interests and take the initiative in implementing local service practices.
3.The program has undergraduate students to participate in scholarship and exploration through the real project.
4.Using Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate model to eliminate education-job mismatch problem.
5.Online courses for students extend learning and provide senior high school students online learning projects.
6.The Undergraduate Degree Program of Rift Valley Interdisciplinary Shuyuan provide two advisors to assist students develop better advance learning.
1.School Facebook fan page "NDHU Career Development Exploration go" was revamped to cater to students' and school leavers' career planning and job needs. Students are more connected to manpower trends, and, through sharing online alumni working stories, to alumni and the industry for an enhanced professional competence and to become a coordinating part of the workforce.
2.Co-operate with enterprise courses to get the connection between practice and professional knowledge.
3.Establishment of take-off family: each department sets up a take-off family tutor to coach students through life counseling and understand their backgrounds and economic status.
4.To process the structure of student sources, dropout, and learning performance through data and information collection and analysis. Provide evidence for administrative and academic units to make the decision.
1. Designed local social practice courses based on Break-Refine-Imagine-Catalyse-Kindle model. Students are brought into contact with communities in a series of intensive courses involving residential learning with local linkages.

3. Cancer Treatment Research Talent Incubation in East Taiwan to conduct cross-territory research for translational medicine.

1. 2022 announce that NDHU is top 10 in Global Crisis Management in the 2021 World Universities with Real Impact Ranking.
2. NDHU 2021 Sustainability Report received Taiwan Academy of Corporate Sustainability( TCSA ) Gold award in 2022 in Taiwan.
3.There are 15 students visit NDHU in 2022 for short term study through Taiwan-Europe Connectivity Scholarship program, provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,.
4.To mitigate the educational gap between city and rural area, in the Hands Together Project, we worked with local grade schools and exhibited the results of university internationalization. This year, we partnered with Hualien's Xikou Elementary School to design events and courses together.
