        NDHU Five to Gether starts from partnership to find and convene a team of teachers, students and third parties that can connect energy across domains, teams, and schools, adopt the method of "co-learning together" for discussing, learning and working together to "co-create" an innovation ecosystem. Create a new era of educational "common good" cultivate diversified talents that meet the needs of contemporary society that enhance the connection between schools and regions. Thorough cultivating the local network gives full play to real social influence and ultimately create the "common prosperity" of schools and society.


        In order to promote faculty innovative teaching and student autonomous learning community programs, different teaching menthes which collaborate between research and courses, application integration and core competencies development were encouraged to make the interdisciplinary become the special feature of the curriculum. Students can explore his or her interests to pursuit higher education of professional study.
        Forty-eight percent of faculty community teachers apply MOE Teaching Practice Research Program in 2021. The encouragement and support form faculty community indeed provide positive influence for teachers. 
        We invite student community program and excellent teaching assistant to publish book which share how they run the programs and get benefits from team work with fellows in the end of this year.
        Pre-major Program has 256 students submit their curriculum vitae for the recruitment. Only about ten percent of then can get enroll this major and later they will explore academic disciplines to determine which one is right for them.
        The first time NDHU Programming competition ”XR-Campus Tour” attracts forty-six teams join the competition. Students can increase their programing ability through the activity and learn the ideas of metaverse for the future application.


        Higher education for the public good continues to focus on career development and employment preparation. The workshop training of the 2021 project to low socio-economic status (SES) students are stuck on curriculum learning, campus life care, career guidance, filed trip for business visits and so on. Provide more resources and opportunities for SES students. Institutional Research (IR) team and Office od Library and Information Service together analyze student characteristic and feature curriculum and provide students learning habit, professor teaching style and course planning adjustment for school to improve its decision-making process. 
        To enhance students' employment power and lifelong learning ability, we establish a Hans campus enterprise virtual company to simulate operational elements of a 
business, such as human resources, and set up three types of self-learning task teams and interdisciplinary learning circles. There are to distinguish into the information industry and publishing industry. The student team that wants to recruit reserve talent will participate in the system construction and enterprise establishment. In the future, by making the use of teaching administrative resources and elite training in the university, it can independently simulate operational modes of enterprises to function in the information industry, publishing industry and other fields.
        "Take-Off Program", which focuses on SES students, is implemented to subsidize students of this university qualified for SES student identification through academic performance improvement scholarship, learning scholarship, talent scholarship, internship scholarship and professional skill examination and certificate scholarship. 
IR team apply Business Intelligence (BI) tool to assist faculties set up new recruitment strategies for coming semester. Data storage of high school student’s scores indicate Chinese language ability has positive influence for college performance. It shows a crucial clue for college student to get well preference in advance.


        Cooperate with the planning of the university's medium-term and long-term development plan, create characteristic research and cross-regional cooperation of each college, in line with international academic trends, connect national development with 
geographical characteristics of the eastern region, and shape the research and development direction of each college and department. Study do not limit in campus
, strengthen local connections promote the practice of university social responsibility and deepening industry-university cooperation train for local professional elites.
        The translational medicine research and study center is the only institute focus medical treatment training on cancer in eastern Taiwan. It recruits master degree and postdoctoral researcher to join the research.
        Social Participation Office counsel students to apply project and has five proposals accepted by government or NGO’s program. Industrial Innovation-Incubation Center counsel students participated U-start Project and win eighty-five thousand funds to start up business, From IP to IPO Program, students receive award of starting up potential and the champion of Zhan Guo Ce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Global Challenge 
        Local and social practice program opens co-learning courses with different tribes. Also go to Tsou, Kanakanau, Hla’alua, and Amis tribes doing cultural records and field investigations. Not only win the Indigenous Performance champion but also has the using authorization of Traditional cultural expressions and sign up memorandum of understanding with Hla’alua, and Amis.


        COVIE-19 does not stop school to persist in cooperation with international institutions, development multicultural education and looking for higher position of ranking. We supply subsistence allowance for low socio-economic status (SES) international students around 1445 person-time. Also has more activities with different countries students to eliminate culture shock and conflict to match up reduced inequalities of SDGs goal 10.
        US-Taiwan cooperation in the field of higher education by concluding a cooperative agreement with the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (Fulbright Taiwan). The project provides American students graduate study in Department of Ethnic Relations and Cultures. Taiwan-Europe Connectivity Scholarships has 15 students from Britain, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Spain and Netherlands study Chinese language in 2021.
        The Times Higher Education announces its 2022 World Ranking of Academic Performance in 2021. NDHU has well performance in the field of Computer Science ranks as 5th high, Engineering ranks as 7th high and Physical Science ranks as 12th high in Taiwan. Moreover, World’s Universities with Real Impact in the field of Crisis Management and Global Top 100 Innovative Universities both rank as 1th in Taiwan.
