The Highlights of the 2020 Academic Year

 

  1. With the theme of “Spreading Wings in Hua Gang and Flying to the World,” a total of 4 exhibition areas were held in Songshan Wencheng Park 1, 2, 3, 4 warehouse. This graduation expo strengthens the integration of students' professional knowledge, including thematic research of departments, graduation performance, on- and off-campus exhibition, licensing examination, competition inside and outside the school, etc., to present students' summary learning results.

Warehouse No. 1—Department of Mass Communication > Theme: "XX Entertainment Co., Ltd."

In modern life, the way the media is used is often not related to leisure and entertainment. Therefore, linked with the evolution of science and technology, emphasizing that under the wave of new media technology "users" are converted into "creators" by users to create their own favorite entertainment style, filling in the blanks themselves, this 105 class graduates led us into the all-encompassing entertainment media world. The expo turned the exhibition area into an unlimited city of joy for experience and imagination.

 

Warehouse No. 2—College of Environmental Design > Theme of the exhibition: "Yangmingshan Science" in cooperation with Yangmingshan National Park Management Office

Through surfaces, models, 3D visual displays, and micro-movies, the vision of the future development strategy and implementation of Yangmingshan National Park, which is adjacent to the school, is presented. Students not only give full play to their practical abilities, but also implement university social responsibility and promote conservation and sustainable thinking.

Warehouse No. 3—Department of Fine Arts > Theme of the exhibition: "The Vision of events"

The idea expressed is that the person who can see the event, and the observers outside the horizon view the so-called event in different time and space. These people inside and outside the "vision" allow the "events" to scroll through multiple meta-factors, interacting with different understandings and imaginations.

Warehouse No. 4—Department of Information Communications > Theme of the exhibition: Artificial relationship

Students design the game "Live Together", that is, to the sustainable development goals of society as a point of mind, so that players in the process understand the differences in resources, environment and social development, knowing the impacts that human life brings. There are also students who design racing simulation games, whose scene is selected in Yangjin Highway, in the presentation of the campus surrounding the humanities and climate.

2. The Hua Gang Maker Center invites industry lecturers to bring industry practical experience to the campus, provides the opportunity for teachers and students to learn innovative practical concepts, and strengthens the integration of academic circles and the industry. Students are encouraged to implement innovative ideas, combine the school's resource utilization center facilities, and use professorial expertise to try to develop new products. The opening of hands-on practical workshops invites warm response from the school's teachers and students. From the established theme, the facilities used by the users instigate participants to try to do different creative product research and develop imagination. The industry and corporate visits and learning on-site products nurture the development and manufacturing techniques.

 

3.The university is committed to the development of cross-disciplinary talents, in addition to their majors, all students are required to study a six-course, 12-credit general knowledge of cross-domain expertise, so that each student has cross-domain expertise, such as professional modular courses, smart life Internet of Things courses, 3D printing real-life courses, goldwork creation practical courses, ceramic production courses, printmaking practical courses, digital printing practical courses, and supercritical and hydrosteaming essential oil extraction courses, The aim is to cultivate the basic ability of the students of our school to create hands-on ability. In addition, the colleges have set up related multidisciplinary courses, for example, the Art College organizes the integration of humanities and science and technology, the training of cross-border exhibition talent-related courses; the College of Engineering proposes the development of motor, machinery, chemical materials, capital and textile talent training courses; and the Law College promotes the cross-domain cultivation of corporate legal talents.

The Results of the 2020 Academic Year

With “in-depth learning, diversity and innovation, leading the future, carrying forward the characteristics” as the main axis, the school proposes four plans.

一、Implement teaching innovation and improve teaching quality

(1)      Improve Students’ Learning Efficiency

In order to enhance our student’s learning efficiency, we conducted Basic Literacy Test for High Education to evaluate their literacy performance; surveyed Core Competency of all graduating students using Rubrics; experimented Adaptive Instruction using Learning Styles Questionnaire designed by Richard M. Felder and Linda K. Silverman as a guide for teachers to adjust their teaching method in order to raise students’ interest in learning, as well as serving as a reference of the learning preference of students themselves. We collected this data as part of graduating student’s Graduates School Leaving Questionnaire, and 4,011 were collected this academic year.

(2)      Strengthen Students’ Professional Practical Skills

We offer 53 internship courses this academic year. By learning on-site in the industry, theoretical education can be combined with practicum experience. In order to improve students' willingness to take the initiative to participate in on- and off-campus internships, we provide our students pre-employment training opportunities, including functional and workplace education, industry trends, resume consultation and interview skills, among others. We hold 19 vocational preliminary classes in the form or career workshops and lectures. We also hold Extracurricular Internship Project and Internship Competition through on- and off-campus internships, part time working and on-campus recruitments to connect learning and industry, and to provide students with multiple development directions. This academic year, 36 students completed Extracurricular Internship Project, and 44 students participated in Internship Competition.

(3)      Cultivate students’ key abilities

      (i)  Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Our Hwa-Kang Maker Center held various lecture series and workshops, with subjects ranging from 3D printing and robotics to leathercraft, essential oil extraction, pottery, printmaking, gold smithing, and textile weaving, etc. They provide our faculties and students a platform to put theoretical knowledge to practice to produce finished products, in order to increase their interdisciplinary learning opportunities and enhance the independent development of products and technical power.

 

(ii)   Logical Thinking: We design several Logical Thinking and Program Design courses based on the varying needs of the different colleges and departments, divided into fundamental and advanced courses. In the 2020 academic year, 67.6% of all bachelor students have had taken programming courses. During the 2016-17 academic years, 86 courses were logical thinking-integrated, covering a total of 4,607 students.)

(iii)  Chinese Reading & Writing: In order to improve students' Chinese ability, three symposiums for test administrators were held, including Follow the ancients to wander-the national language teaching sharing; The small interaction of the Mandarin language class; and "Then what ?...... They live a happy life? - The creative exercise of the story. A before/after test of Chinese reading and writing abilities was held in the First Semester of the 2020 Academic Year, with a test rate of 42%.

(iv)   Foreign Language Proficiency: In order to improve students' basic Chinese and English proficiency, we conducted tests before and after the students' studies to assess the effectiveness of learning. To promote students' continued learning, we continue to promote English self-learning platforms such as Voice Tube, EZ Test, and English Central. During 2020 academic year, Voicetube alone was used 13,430 times, and during 2020, it has been used 18,139 times. In addition to promote students' habits to use the English self-study platforms, we also hope to enhance students' language proficiency, and cultivate their own advantages and international competitiveness.

(4)    Promote Teaching Innovations

(i) In order to encourage faculties to invest in diversified teaching and to reward faculties who continue to integrate innovative teaching and develop new materials into the curriculum, we open up the application program every semester and bonus are awarded after review.

(ii) To enable faculties in different fields to improve the way they teach through the process of teaching together or watching each other’ lessons, 13th Communities of Interdisciplinary Tutors were established this year, holding 72 events and lectures.

(iii) Improved faculty's adaptive instruction abilities. Understanding the students' learning styles through standardized tests, and collected 8,553 learning style questionnaires. This allows instructors to adjust the curriculum in accordance with students' attributes and improves students' learning efficiency.

二、Develop school characteristics

(1)      Raising Interdisciplinary π-type Talent

Beginning from the 2017 academic year, new students are required to take a 6-lesson, 12 credit interdisciplinary course. We hope each student would acquire interdisciplinary expertise in order to raise π-type talents. During the 2020 academic year, we offered 84 combinations of interdisciplinary expertise for students to choose from. We promote micro-credit courses in every department to provide students the freedom of choice and provide actual credits. 88 courses were offered in the 2020 academic year.

(2)      Integrate Chinese culture in learning

Since our foundation, promoting Chinese culture has been Chinese Culture University's specialty and vision. The relevant courses are planned by each college:

(i)  College of Liberal Arts: Experts and pundits are invited to offer 8 micro-credit courses, 2 educational training sessions, 6 workshops and 2 competitions on the beauty of monuments and historic buildings, "Ancient Poetry Creation Competition" and 2 competitions. We create a learning atmosphere on the campus about traditional Chinese culture.

(ii)  College of Agriculture:Compilation and completion of 2 cases of Chinese culture and the department of professional-related teaching materials. This year the Department of Health Nutrition and the Department of Life Applied Sciences completed the "processing of ancient and modern oil tea oil" and "home economics promotion", two sets of Chinese culture combined with agricultural teaching materials. Students were able to understand the cultural history of tea oil and oil in today's health care applications, as well as the early "rural" home economics promotion education of the significance of the times. Special lectures organized by the Department of Life Application Sciences, the Department of Health Nutrition, the Department of Horticulture and Biotechnology and the Department of Land Resources have provided students with a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese diet, health diet deployment, ancient and modern coffee culture and the rental history and culture inherited from ancient times.

(iii)  College of Science: Through the integration of Chinese culture and Taiwan's local spirit in courses such as Chinese culture, Taiwan geography, cultural geography, leisure and tourism geography, and eco-tourism, the effectiveness of local cultural innovation and development can be enhanced. And to arrange speeches and arrange practical activities in the local visit, including: blue dyeing, grass, oranges, hot springs and other characteristic activities in the local characteristics, to enhance the students' understanding and recognition of the culture in the real estate industry. Through the integration of Chinese culture and Taiwan's local culture, the learning can be more varied and more integrated.

(3)  Open smart life science and technology axis discipline

(i)    Application of digital technology information to shape FinTech professionals: In addition to the formal courses, experts and scholars are invited to give lectures to the school to guide students to obtain 11 Certification for FinTech Knowledge and 85 first-level Financial Information Analysts licenses. The strengthened integration of big data analytics applications with its financial field fosters interdisciplinary FinTech professionals with financial knowledge and IT capabilities.

(ii)    VR Class Virtual Classroom Infinity: 2 professional module courses, with courses to purchase virtual reality shooting and development, VR-related voice-over production equipment. The combined professional internship courses have 16 offerings in 2020 academic year.

    (iii)    Smart Life Mobile Internet of Things (IOT) Creators: 2 IoT Creator micro-courses, 4 Smart Life Internet of Things courses, or basic programming courses.

(4)     Cross-disciplinary curriculum design and development in colleges

In order to deepen cross-disciplinary science and technology learning, students in the future must have multi-disciplinary scientific and technological capabilities in order to deepen their cross-disciplinary science and technology learning. Colleges in our school, including the College of Law, Social Sciences, Agriculture, Engineering, New Biography, Liberal Arts and Education, all actively promote the opening of cross-disciplinary courses and student learning activities involving departments or colleges.

(i)   College of Law: Cross-Domain Training Program for Corporate Law Talents: Nine cross-disciplinary finance-related courses, summer and mid-term internship courses in collaboration with several law firms and companies, "Academic Seminar on Financial Law" and "Seventh Huagang Financial Law Seminar" are held, with lectures on the sustainable impact of new digital technology and civil liability and financial industry, and lectures on international trends.

(ii)  College of Agriculture: “Agriculture Into Life, Innovation, Production, Research and Development”: Department of the Agricultural College held a lecture in both the first half of 2020 and the second half of the year, on the latest developments in industrial research and development, and held a total of 14 presentations covering the development of new technologies such as agricultural technology, testing and biotechnology industry, genetic technology, 3D bioprinting and tissue engineering, environmental protection soft package applications, and the latest developments in the domestic livestock industry, forestry, real estate industry, etc.

(iii)  College of Engineering: “Smart Factory Talent Cultivation”: The Institute of Technology offers 15 courses on smart factories, with 448 participants and 404 non-undergraduates (90 per cent). There are a total of 13 teachers from industries taught, 352 people participated in 9 enterprise visits (to 10 companies), and 1,410 people participated in 31 presentations. To meet the capstone requirements in IEET engineering certification, 5 department-level and 1 college-level student competitions were held.

(iv)  College of Journalism and Mass Communications: “Enterprise Bridging Course to Train Students' Ability to Solve Social Problems”: A total of 17 lectures were conducted by the Department of Mass Communication, including network media management, news interviews and editing, image editing and production, urban marketing, film marketing and creative development, with a total of 1,413 participants.

(v)   Technology, Cross-Border Exhibition Talent Training”: A number of cross-border creative industry courses are offered. Outstanding artists at home and abroad are invited to give lectures as well as professionals. For the sound system overview workshop, YAMAHA audio network is combined with teaching workshop and lighting professional and technical workshop, for off-campus art exhibition activities and 22 on-campus exhibition activities.

(vi)   The College of Education-PBL is integrated into the teacher training curriculum to train the key abilities of teachers in the 21st century :

The Teacher Training Center handled a total of 4 new curriculum practical courses for teachers’ professional growth community activities, inviting Taoyuan City Grand Garden International High School Principal Zhu Yuanlong, New North City Middle School and National High School Principal Chen Chun Nun, as well as Xinbei City Zheng German National Middle School teacher Huang Peixuan to share to share with a total of 71 participants and teachers. In cooperation with Taipei City Guting National High School, the center offered future teachers the "quality-oriented teaching design workshop", arranged for teaching curriculum design and practical training in different fields, a total of 56 people attended and participated in the whole process. 

(vii)   College of Social Sciences: “International Vision of Social Science Education, and The Integration of Production and Learning and Social Care”: 4 academic exchanges on international topics, 5  courses in English, and lectures are provided. The introduction of practical courses are taught by senior industry personnel or in collaboration with teachers. Discussion workshop to train students in professional functions is held. Visits are paid to and internship contracts are signed with several operators. The teachers and students of the Social Wells Department set up the Fukuyama Service Team to lead students to the Fukuyama tribe to participate in community development work and children's protection services, and to Yilan Baimi community, the U.S. military dormitory area in front of Guanghua Road for community service.

三、The Promote the public nature of higher education

(1)   The training and assistance for disadvantaged students

(i)   Accommodation assistance mechanisms are provided for disadvantaged students, mainly to help low- and middle-income households, children of persons with disabilities and students with disabilities, children of special circumstances families, Aboriginal people, new residents and other students, hoping to alleviate their financial pressure through preferential accommodation measures, which can gradually shift their attention to their studies, hoping to turn the future of disadvantaged students through education. The school has increased the number of disadvantaged students' accommodation through resources, assisting a total of 482 disadvantaged students to stay in the school in 2020, and promoting the disadvantaged assistance mechanism to create a win-win situation and helping vulnerable students to dream of learning at ease.

(ii)    A learning performance inventory tracking dashboard with disadvantaged students as the core is built, ranging from the presentation of the comprehensive indicator data, to the class-type down to carry out the details, and to the instrument icon, color separation key signs of the way of specific presentation, in order to quickly grasp the overall situation of learning, to provide students with self-examination.

(iii)   According to the needs of each college, equipped are 1-6 seed students to assist in leading the students of the college to form study community, carrying out independent learning, thematic discussion, reading sessions, etc., and serve as a communication bridge between the teaching resource center and disadvantaged students, and assist the school to promote various lectures, activities, visits or after-course assistance information and provide job-matching.

(iv)   Learning clinics care for and track backward students throughout the school, and arrange one-on-one or small classes for high-achieving elder sisters or classmates for students with counselling needs. In 2020, a total of 26 disadvantaged students applied for course tutoring, 30 outstanding and disadvantaged students were provided with tutoring for backward students, the satisfaction rate of secondary students in the whole school was as high as 93.24%, and about 90% of the students were willing to receive similar counselling.

(v)    The whole school students are provided with consultative counseling, priority with the student support group design questionnaire, combined with the center’s referral system. After assessment of the need for consulting counseling, and vulnerable students themselves agreed to arrange the school to serve as a consultant psychologist for individual consulting counseling or group counseling, so that they can fit as soon as possible into campus life, learning with peace of mind. A total of 948 disadvantaged students were served in 2020 academic year.

(vi)   The school has set up a Resource Centre for Aboriginal Students, which is to accompany and assist Aboriginal students in campus life, tutoring and career planning and development, while assisting Aboriginal students to understand themselves, accept themselves, and develop positive interaction with the environment, while respecting individual learning and needs. Through promoting cultural and educational activities to organize lectures on various indigenous issues, art exhibitions, etc., we will focus on the identity of Aboriginal students and enhance their understanding and learning of traditional culture. In addition to the 92% early warning tutoring rate and 84.48% success rate of early warning tutoring for First Nations students in 2020, a total of 16 events were held to help Aboriginal students to improve their sense of community identity and centrium in their school life through a single window, with 390 participants participating in various activities and more than 90% satisfaction.

(2)    The school professional management system is to strengthen self-discipline and make public the relevant information about school management.

(i)     Research workshops for promotion of school affairs were held (3 sessions), participation in out-of-school workshops (7), education training (6), school affairs research visits to other school results (2 times), publications: analysis reports (5 volumes), annual reports (1), book excerpt (1) and school research seminars (1 session). Lecturers from various schools or senior lecturers with relevant school research experience were invited to speak to the school for experience sharing and discussion.

(ii)    According to the requirements put forward by the unit and the student data of the school's website system, the School Affairs Research Office defines and analyzes the direction of the data, and then uses quantitative statistical analysis methods (descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, average detection and regression, etc.), and the output reports and data are presented on the website and school research platform of the School Affairs Research Office of the School Development Office (Indigenous Graduate Analysis Report, 2019 Student Origin Competition Analysis Report, Admission Pipeline Analysis, etc.).

(iii)  The School Affairs Research Office has cooperated with the two major associations of Taiwan School Affairs Research in the publication of books and the analysis of school affairs research, respectively, including the TAIR Taiwan School Studies Professional Association and the Taiwan Evaluation Association, on issues such as the New Student Adaptation Survey, the Taiwan-Tailand-Japanese University Student Learning Effectiveness and Satisfaction Survey, to provide reference for the recommendations of the university's students.

(iv)  The school affairs research professional scholars’ lectures and software operation course teaching are held to let our teachers and students jointly explore the field of school affairs research and the use of data analysis software, and thus enhance the energy of the school staff learning and further education, in addition to internal education and training, the school affairs research office also regularly held international and national school affairs research seminars, such as: this year's 2020 school affairs research and business excellence seminar. The topic is school research x school review, inviting experts and scholars of college affairs research in colleges and universities nationwide to evaluate school affairs x school affairs management x school affairs, how to improve the quality of higher education through international evaluation, looking at school affairs management from school affairs research, the development and promotion of school affairs research and promotion of Ukip alliance school affairs, and the application of school affairs research materials, which is conducive to the national colleges and universities experts and scholars to the school exchange, expanding the results of the school affairs research.

四、Assuming the Social Responsibility

(1)      The integration of departments’ specialty into the community

The school’s 7 colleges take community humanistic care as the main axis, combining the community information survey and planning, community awareness of the community, community care for the elderly and children, community people's ability to improve foreign language, as well as through media production of community publicity and other work, in order to bring the school teachers and students and to the community. The relevant measures are as follows:

(i)  College of Environmental Design: For the intelligent ecological community planning and design-oriented, experts from relevant fields of industry are hired as instructors to give students, from freshman to senior, a gradual planning, expanding students on the intelligent ecological community planning design and development management ideas and breadth. Teaching is integrated into local communities, which takes Yangmingshan as a real field, and carries out planning and design at different spatial scales to create intelligent, ecological and sustainable development communities. Freshman students are responsible for the environmental transformation design of the front part of Yangmingshan Park and Bus Terminal, the sophomore students take charge of the overall review of the main plan of the Yangmingshan National Park, and the junior students are entrusted the overall planning and development of Yangmingshan Hot Springs Town.

(ii)  College of Science:Our aims are to improve junior and senior high school teaching services, learning about the ecological environment, and special geography and geological fields. Using the adjacent community as the campus, we strengthen the professional and practical ability of students, and design enlightening courses to bridge classroom activities to promote the integration of natural science majors into the campus and community development. The field covers Shiendong, Yangmingshan bamboo lake horticultural field, Yangmingshan U.S. military home, Yangmingshan small oil pit, and Zhongshan middle areas.

(iii)  College of Engineering: Teaching primary school students to do experiments is what students of this department do with their ability to train practical and experimental design. With college students teaching primary school students to do experiments, Yang Ming primary school students’ natural curriculum becomes more lively and vivid. During the program, a total of 10 students were sent to Yang Ming primary school to teach elementary school students to do interesting chemical experiments. Each time about 10 to 20 students of Yang Ming primary school of are involved in the program. Department of Electrical Engineering - Training students to observe and measure the electronic signals of the motor in the field to participate in social services in the spirit of learning experiments is the main goal. By analyzing the decibels, luminosity, electromagnetic waves, humidity and ultraviolet rays measured in the field, the users of Yangmingli area can know the environmental parameters of their area and make improvement works on its high hazard area.

(iv)  College of Agriculture:In Yuhuagang Forest Nursery, 10 nest boxes of beekeeping work are laid to teach students to understand bees, inspiring students to be interested in beekeeping, knowing the importance of bees to the ecological system, as well as the application of bees in the economic industry, so that students can be interested in the bee industry in the future to practice breeding technology, bee management and disease prevention, bee product development and industrial development and other content, using bees to gain a sound regional ecosystem.

(v)   College of International Studies and Foreign Languages: To promote multi-language learning and cultural understanding, six languages are used as teaching materials in courses with Yangmingshan primary school, Gezhi Guo junior high school, Bai Ling high school A, B class, and Fu Shing high school A, B class, with 96 lectures offered. The Korean Department and 3 high schools signed a letter of intent to cooperate, through the connection with the high school end, the Korean education circle is formed.

(vi)  College of Social Sciences:In order to increase the opportunities for students in the Department of Social Welfare to learn from practical work, we will work with Yongfu House in Taipei City to provide education and professional services to persons with learning disabilities under the leadership of teachers and institutional social workers. Students design and implement life education groups and related activities in accordance with social working methods and principles, and participate in services to help people with disabilities achieve a better quality of life. This year, a total of eight students participated in the programme to implement two "life education" programmes in small groups for a period of six weeks to help clients understand life processes, death departures, emotional adjustment and other issues. Each person completes a 48-hour service and produces a final report and publishes it.

(vii)  College of Journalism and Mass Communications: The Department of Journalism produces the relevant news and feature reports of Yangmingshan community in a fixed and timely section, allowing the course to be integrated into regional development and community formation, and students participate in in-depth special reports on the theme of caring for the local community and report on community issues using video media for 50%.

(2)      Campus resources sharing and community vitality

To promote community co-prosperity and serve public welfare institutions, our school fulfill the needs of the local community as the mission, guiding students to deepen empathy, caring and self-reflection. The relevant specific content is as follows::

(i)  Service learning is rooted in the ground, integrating the school into the community: with Yangmingshan, Shilin, Beitou community co-prosperity as the goal and the community public welfare institutions as the scope of service, the whole project include the promotion of student community culture and environmental education service learning activities, community and public welfare service learning activities, the organization of help-to-neighborhood services reflection review feedback and competition activities. With professional integrated into community participation, civic practice and social care, there are 57 teams in the 2020 academic year extracurricular service study program, with a total of 1,007 students participating.

(ii)  The book borrowing and museum visiting services:In order to implement the resources and services of the open Huagang Museum, strengthen the links and interaction between the Huagang Museum and the premises in the premises, combine the Yangmingshan Studies promoted by the school, conform to the educational objectives of deep cultivation in the ground, and invite the Executive Director of Grass Mountain Yuxi, which has a rich collection of Chinese stone carvings, to share his business philosophy and experience, the "Light Space SOL ART SPACE", co-sponsored the "Painting Chinese Cuisine - "Vegetable Book" Artwork Exhibition" in the Minsheng community is held to increase efforts to promote Chinese art and culture. The exhibition is held in community housing, surrounded by many nearby high, middle and primary schools, which can facilitates the construction of research, service to local residents and deepen regional exchanges. Guests invited include Ambassador Diane Haylock of the Beris Embassy and Honorary Chairman of the Taipei Art and Painting Association Lai Yongyu, etc., to achieve the goal of cultural exchanges between China and the West. Seven students are trained to perform the Chinese and English guided tour, improving students' knowledge of arts and culture and their executive ability, while holding 3 free lectures that are open to the general public to participate, sign up enthusiastically, deeply cultivate cultural exchanges in the local community.

(iii)  The Exercise Physiology Experiment set up a health testing station to schedule testing. Through the holding of the four-day 2020 Hua Kang Precinct Badminton Cup Invitational, more than 317 contestants participate the event, including 6 primary schools, 3 junior high school, and 3 college varsities.

五、USR Hub

With the school's 5 colleges, more than 10 departments apply "Yangmingshan Studies" as the main axis, shaping Yangmingshan humanities, art and natural cultural landscape impression, combined with practical and on-the-spot interviews, data collection, and make the best of the colleges and universities to assume the responsibility of social training industry talent, and to provide media literacy courses to enhance the independent thinking and practical ability of junior and senior high school students in real life.

1.College of Arts: "Yangmingshan Studies": The Humanities Project

Combined with the three departments of arts, history and philosophy, with "Yangmingshan" humanities as the core, through the combination of philosophy and practical learning, we held a total of (1) micro-credit courses: 15 courses, 3 lectures, 700 people. (2) Literary masterpieces and masterpieces intonations held in 2 venues, about 100 people intending. (3) Retracing oral interviews: 3 times, 700 people attending; (4) DVD shooting: Chinese, English and Japanese versions. (5) Exchange Workshop about Yangmingshan Studies among industrial, administrative, and scholar branches: 150 people attending. These activities strengthen students' understanding of Yangmingshan area, and have a deeper connection with the local society, which facilitates Yangmingshan's ecology and humanities promotion and marketing.

2. College of Art College of Arts: "Yangmingshan Studies": Yangmingfeng

The program involves teachers leading students to learn field surveys from the creative point of view of the performing arts, learn how to draw on the natural and human landscape of Yangmingshan National Park Scenic Area, and devote themselves to ideas including original poems, scripts, compositions and choreography, and then create cross-disciplinary ideas. Music, drama, dance, fine arts and other art exhibitions are held, and in conjunction with the school's exhibition venue and Yangmingshan District Humanities Hall (such as Lin Yutang or Yangming Book House) to organize art performance activities, to provide residents and tourists in the area art appreciation opportunities, improving the effectiveness of promoting art education. A total of 1 workshop, 3 exhibitions and 3 exhibitions were held in 2020.

3. Department of Landscape Architecture - "Yangmingshan Studies": The in-place network and social practice for the construction of a sustainable environment are divided into three activities: the Grass Hill Camp Workshop, the 2020 Vision Workshop for Sustainable Development of the Flood Plains downstream of the Freshwater River, and the Environmental Creative Industries Course. Whether the activities or courses are combined with the school policy-driven Yangmingshan Studies, leading students to instill the beauty of Yangmingshan into the mind of local people, strengthening the idea of the local operators to design activities or itinerary, or even combined with mobile phone AR amplification to increase interaction.

4. Department of Chemical Engineering - Talent Training Program for the Ceramic Industry: In order to promote the cultivation of human resources in the ceramic industry, the planned structure is divided into four facets:(1) Building a dialogue window on the human needs of the ceramic industry.(2) Designing the teaching materials needed to develop the ceramic industry to cultivate manpower.(3) Carrying out teaching activities on the cultivation of manpower in the ceramic industry.(4) Verifying the achievements and feedback of manpower cultivation in the ceramic industry In 2020, we have performed one seminar on the development of production and science, one industrial development consultation in Northern Yangmingshan in Beitao area, and one visit to the site of Beitao Guizi Pit and pottery factory in Beitao, Yangmingshan District, and completed the 53-hour ceramic talent training course planning and ceramic talent training course.

5. Department of Mass Communication - Media literacy education teachers nurture and practice the curriculum:Based on the goal of promoting media literacy education, through cooperation with schools at all levels, professional educational non-profit organizations and community colleges, we can achieve the results of cultivating teachers of media literacy in the national education stage, implementing media literacy education, and building a media literacy education resource platform. In 2020, a total of one high school teacher teaching workshop was held, 23 people attending; 4 ladder high school students media literacy camp team, 163 people attending; and one Francis High School media photography practice, 39 people attending.
