He held the opportunity to participate in many competitions and college student projects from MOST. He was also admitted to the graduate school of a national university hoping to reverse his life via education.

LIU MIN XUAN, who just graduated from the Department of Business Administration of DYU, pronounced that his father has to financially support the whole family, including the three children currently studying. After studying at DYU, he concentrated on studying on weekdays and yet worked on weekends. He got to work at the restaurant nearby by bus and tried his best to balance the schoolwork and living expenses. If he had any questions, he would instantly go to the professors since DYU is under apprenticeship. His mentor, ZHENG KUN ZHONG, cared about him all the time. In the sophomore year, he learned from the teacher that the school was implementing the “Complete Underprivileged Learning Project.” He started to join the study group and do the research paper. Having the scholarships as supports, he didn’t have to rush to work and had more time to learn. He sincerely appreciated the “Complete Underprivileged Learning Project,.” which allowed him to improve the family’s situation by studying.

LIU MIN XUAN thought that DYU’s assistance system of learning is well-organized. It encourages the students to learn rather than merely giving the students fish(money). All of them can be of great help for students for both cultivating interdisciplinary abilities and the financial situation by giving out compensation. Therefore, he not only owns a marketing-related certificate but also international etiquette, leisure tourism administrator, etc. His mentor encouraged him to apply for the college student research project. Luckily, he got the scholarship from MOST, which allowed him to study while getting compensation.
